CLOWNS IN & OUT (Rauenthal - Eltville)

“Clowns: In & Out” A 4-day residential clown intensive with Lila Monti at Eltville-Rauenthal.

4 days. 6 hours a day. A small village, in a natural environment. A reduced group of clowns. The idea of this small temporary community is to have a space of intense connection with the clown work. A deep, and as little interfered as possible by the issues of daily life, time of training. To surround the participants with the stimuli that nature can propose them, will try to enable different channels of access to the material and the clown universe that each one of them will, later, use on stage.

The clown technique will search to strength the bridge in between this internal creative material and the spectators, so that it reaches the public as intact and -at the same time- clear as possible.

OBJECTIVES

To deepen and develop the elements of the clown technique, with special emphasis on:

The development of the game / the imagination.

.The transit through vulnerability and failure.

The perception of internal and external stimuli, and the translation of the impulses they produce into actions and clown games.

.The contact with the public. Listening and reacting.

The listening of the stage partners.

.The projection, the availability and the presence on stage.

.Improvisation in solos, duets and trios.

Working elements:

Comfortable clothing.

Clown's nose (preferably red, and with elastic).

Clown´s costumes and objects.

Extra clothes and extra objects to share.
